theweirdcanadian.ca is the home of The Weird Canadian: a podcast, a newsletter, music, writing, and other media made by me, Cody Johnston, in Lewisporte, Newfoundland. These terms cover your use of this website and the content on it. By using the site, you agree to them.
using the site
The site is free to browse. Use it for what it is built for: reading, listening, watching, and subscribing. Do not scrape it at abusive volume, try to break it, or use it for anything illegal.
content and intellectual property
Everything I publish here (episodes, articles, music, artwork, the name and the logo) belongs to me unless it obviously belongs to someone else, like a guest's words or a platform's trademark. Guests own their own words and ideas.
You are welcome to share and quote my content with credit and a link back. You may not republish it wholesale, sell it, or pass it off as your own.
newsletter and third-party platforms
Subscribing to the newsletter happens through Beehiiv, and the podcast lives on platforms like Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, and Amazon Music. Those platforms have their own terms and policies that apply when you use them. How this site handles your information is covered in the privacy policy.
